Worked on the remindmodel/remind repository to enhance cross-model planning and scenario management, focusing on integrating PyPSA coupling and improving capacity planning for Chinese coal power plants. Used GAMS and CSV to implement near-term capacity bounds and scenario alignment, introducing a global switch for safe feature activation and maintaining traceability through detailed commit documentation. Addressed code maintenance by correcting capacity factor usage and updating configuration files, which reduced operational warnings and improved model initialization. Enhanced documentation and data management practices supported reproducibility and onboarding. The work enabled more robust scenario analysis, streamlined configuration management, and improved the accuracy of energy modeling workflows.
