Worked on modernizing the routing architecture for the Sonarr/Sonarr repository by migrating the codebase from React Router v5 to v7. This involved replacing the legacy Switch component with the newer Routes component and adopting the element prop, as well as removing connected-react-router to streamline routing state management. The migration enabled direct navigation methods, reduced complexity, and improved maintainability for future development. The work was completed using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with a focus on code refactoring and dependency upgrades. No major bugs were addressed during this period, allowing attention to remain on long-term scalability and architectural improvements.
