During February 2026, Bitgamma contributed to the MetaMask/metamask-extension repository by implementing Keycard Shell QR Wallet support, expanding the list of compatible QR hardware wallets. This work involved integrating Keycard Shell into the onboarding flow, updating localization files, and coordinating marketing links to ensure a seamless user experience for new hardware wallet users. Bitgamma utilized React and JavaScript to maintain codebase consistency and leveraged JSON for localization updates. The changes were carefully tracked with clear commit references and issue linkage, demonstrating attention to maintainability and traceability. No bugs were addressed during this period, focusing solely on feature development and integration.
