Developed a Bazelisk package definition for the cashapp/hermit-packages repository, enabling centralized and reproducible Bazel tool management through the hermit package manager. The work focused on supporting multiple Bazelisk versions and architectures by explicitly defining download sources, versioning, and integrity checks, all implemented using HCL and DevOps best practices. This addition streamlined package management workflows, reduced manual effort, and improved build consistency across environments. By aligning with hermit’s packaging standards, the solution enhanced repository coverage and ensured reliable installations. No bugs were reported during this period, reflecting a focused and well-executed approach to package management and infrastructure automation.
