Georg Hartmann developed Colombian Peso (COP) currency support for the actualbudget/actual repository, expanding the platform’s currency options for LATAM users. He implemented the feature using React and TypeScript, updating both the currency settings and core currency definitions to enable COP-based transactions. Georg also contributed documentation to guide users through the new integration. This work addressed onboarding friction for Colombian users and aligned with the product’s globalization strategy. The feature was delivered end-to-end within a single repository, demonstrating proficiency in front end development and collaborative workflows. The scope was focused, with depth in implementation and attention to user experience.
