Worked on the evcc-io/evcc repository to deliver a Connected Cars telemetry integration for Volkswagen Australia, enabling retrieval of vehicle data such as charge percentage, odometer readings, and range. Focused on backend development using Go, the work involved designing and implementing a new API integration to support vehicle telemetry use cases. Legacy charge-state logic was removed from the ConnectedCars module, reducing technical debt and improving data consistency. The changes simplified the API surface, enhanced maintainability, and improved test coverage around the new integration. This approach supported ongoing collaboration and reliability for vehicle telemetry features, leveraging skills in API development and Go.
