Worked on the sonic-net/sonic-buildimage repository to address a critical bug affecting SNMPD startup reliability when SNMP agents were configured with VRF addresses. Focused on correcting the Jinja template syntax in snmpd.conf, ensuring that both the SNMP agent address and VRF were parsed correctly so the service could start as expected. This fix improved monitoring reliability for users deploying SNMP with VRF, reducing operational incidents related to SNMP startup failures. Demonstrated strong skills in Docker, SNMP configuration, and system administration, while maintaining clear commit traceability and adhering to robust change management practices throughout the debugging and implementation process.
