Brian Xu enhanced the nerfstudio-project/nerfstudio repository by developing a Docker-based deployment solution that embeds GLOMAP and introduces a deterministic CMake build process within the Docker image. Leveraging skills in Docker, build systems, and DevOps, Brian replaced the standard package installation with wget-based steps to fetch and build specific versions of CMake and GLOMAP, ensuring reproducibility and consistency across development and CI environments. This approach de-risked environment setup and enabled ready-to-run workflows for COLMAP integration. The work demonstrated depth in build automation and environment management, focusing on reliability and repeatability using Dockerfile and Shell scripting throughout the process.
