Worked on enhancing Docker-based deployment for the nerfstudio-project/nerfstudio repository by integrating GLOMAP and establishing a deterministic CMake build process within the Docker image. The approach involved updating the Dockerfile to ensure GLOMAP is built and installed as a dependency for COLMAP workflows, replacing standard package installation with wget-based steps to fetch and build specific versions of CMake and GLOMAP. This improved reproducibility and reliability for both development and continuous integration environments. The work leveraged skills in build systems, DevOps, and Docker, utilizing Shell scripting and Dockerfile best practices to create a more controlled and repeatable setup process.
