Developed a Camera Path Saving Fallback Mechanism for the nerfstudio repository, focusing on backend and full stack development using Python. This feature ensured that camera path JSON files would be reliably preserved by writing to an alternative output directory if the primary data directory became unavailable, thereby reducing the risk of data loss due to directory issues. The implementation introduced robust I/O fallback logic without altering existing user-facing APIs, maintaining workflow continuity. By enhancing data integrity and operational resilience for camera trajectory data, the work improved reproducibility and reliability in the system while adhering to established development practices and codebase standards.
