Brinda Iyengar worked on backend development for the gomorpheus/morpheus-plugin-core repository, focusing on enhancing network routing configurability. She implemented a feature that introduced BGP option management by adding a bgpOptionTypes field to the NetworkRouterType class in Java. This addition allows the system to store and manage BGP-specific option types within network router configurations, enabling more granular control over BGP options for network routers. The work required a solid understanding of Java and backend architecture, and addressed the need for flexible network routing configuration. During the period, Brinda delivered one feature, demonstrating depth in backend systems and network configuration.
