Worked on the mrousavy/swift repository to deliver a platform compatibility update focused on concurrency functions. The primary task involved updating availability checks in DispatchShims.h to match the latest operating system versions, thereby enhancing cross-platform reliability and performance for Swift concurrency features. Using C and C++, the work emphasized system programming and concurrency, ensuring that concurrency functions are only enabled on supported platforms. No major bugs were addressed during this period, as the focus remained on maintainability and code quality. The update improved the codebase’s alignment with evolving OS requirements, supporting robust and future-proof concurrency support across platforms.
