Worked on the monarch-initiative/mondo repository to enhance the mondo ontology by integrating cross-references from Mesh, ICD10WHO, and ICD11, thereby expanding semantic connectivity and improving searchability for medical terms. Applied data curation and ontology engineering skills to remove mappings flagged by quality control, which improved data quality and reduced potential downstream errors. Synchronized the local ontology with upstream content to maintain alignment with external standards and ensure accuracy. Utilized the obo language and medical terminology expertise to strengthen interoperability for downstream applications, supporting more accurate clinical reasoning and data integration within the broader biomedical informatics ecosystem.
