Worked on the XTLS/Xray-core repository to enhance DNS resolution by implementing support for both A and AAAA records in the XDNS finalmask resolver. This addition expanded the system’s ability to handle IPv4 and IPv6 DNS queries, improving compatibility for diverse network environments. The approach included writing comprehensive tests to validate the new behavior across multiple scenarios, ensuring reliability and robustness. Documentation was updated to guide users on the expanded record type support and its usage. Leveraging Go and network programming skills, the work focused on increasing DNS reliability and facilitating broader IPv6 adoption while reducing operational troubleshooting for deployments.
