Worked on the sixfeetup/scaf repository to enhance both container reliability and documentation workflows. Addressed a permissions issue in Docker environments by removing an unnecessary chown command from the entrypoint script, ensuring that bind-mounted directory ownership remained consistent across deployments and reducing environment-specific failures. Later, focused on build automation and documentation by introducing Makefile targets to automate building and serving MkDocs-based documentation, including support for Mermaid diagrams and emojis. Leveraged Shell scripting, Dockerfile, and YAML to streamline contributor onboarding and maintain consistency in documentation updates, resulting in a more predictable and efficient development and deployment process for the project.
