During October 2024, Cam Git worked on the IBM/cloud-pak repository, focusing on lifecycle simplification by deprecating and removing legacy components such as the ITX Runtime Server and IBM ClickHouse Operator. Using YAML and leveraging skills in Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure, Cam executed a series of targeted deletions to eliminate outdated versions, thereby reducing maintenance overhead and technical debt. This work aligned the repository with current product offerings and clarified upgrade paths for users. All changes were meticulously documented at the commit level, ensuring traceability and transparency. The depth of the work reflects a methodical approach to sustainable DevOps practices.
