Worked on the DataDog/cilium repository to deliver a feature enabling custom labels for the clustermesh API server service, addressing the need for improved resource organization and filtering within Kubernetes environments. Leveraged Helm and YAML to implement configurable labeling, allowing teams to better manage and observe multi-cluster deployments. The approach included updating documentation and configuration files to support smooth adoption and correct usage of the new functionality. By focusing on customization and governance, the work enhanced Kubernetes resource management practices. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature delivery and ensuring alignment with multi-cluster operational goals.
