During December 2025, Andrii Okep delivered Ukrainian localization for the metabrainz/picard repository, expanding the Picard UI’s accessibility for Ukrainian-speaking users. He implemented a Weblate-based translation workflow, enabling ongoing updates and proper attribution for the language pack. Working primarily in Python, Andrii translated 81.6% of the application’s strings, aligning with the project’s localization roadmap and improving user experience for a broader audience. His contribution focused on structured commit practices and collaborative development, though no major bug fixes were recorded during this period. The work demonstrated depth in localization, translation processes, and integration of workflow tools within an open-source environment.
