Worked on the metabrainz/picard repository to enhance the date sanitization workflow by redesigning the user interface from a single-select dropdown to a multi-select checkbox system. This change, implemented using PyQt and Python, allowed users to disable date sanitization with greater flexibility and clarity, reducing the risk of misconfiguration in advanced settings. The approach focused on improving user experience and simplifying future maintenance by making options more transparent and interactions more intuitive. All modifications were delivered in a single, well-documented commit, ensuring strong traceability and auditability. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature development.
