During April 2025, Chris Roijakkers expanded the pacstall/pacstall-programs repository by implementing Debian ARM64 packaging support for the Ferdium application. He focused on build systems and package management, using Shell scripting to update build artifacts and ensure the inclusion of ARM64 sources and checksums. This work enabled reproducible and verifiable packaging for ARM64 systems, addressing cross-architecture deployment needs and broadening installation options for users. By enhancing the packaging workflow to support ARM64, Chris improved the reliability and reach of the project. The depth of his contribution lay in aligning packaging processes with the project’s cross-platform adoption goals.
