Contributed to the openfoodfacts/smooth-app repository by developing Discount Types Management within the Pricing System, enhancing both user experience and data reliability. Leveraging Dart and Flutter, introduced a reusable dropdown component for selecting discount types and refactored related UI elements to support maintainability and localization. Addressed a critical issue in price addition by updating barcode data parsing to handle diverse formats, improving robustness during data ingestion. The work focused on modularizing components for reuse, normalizing discount data during uploads, and ensuring clear presentation of discount options, laying groundwork for future pricing features and supporting scalable mobile development practices.
