The automation updates oci/*/_releases.json files in response to CI runs, ensuring current release information across all OCI components (mock-rock, metrics-proxy, tempo, mimir, grafana-agent) with minimal manual intervention. Delivered 9 automated updates across 6 components, reducing metadata drift and accelerating release readiness. This work improves auditability, cross-team transparency, and overall CI/CD reliability.
