Developed a centralized UI flow for Tab Overview within the wikimedia/wikipedia-ios repository, enabling consistent presentation and reuse of display logic across both Article and Random Article contexts. Leveraged protocol-oriented programming in Swift to extend the ArticleCoordinating protocol, consolidating Tab Overview display into a single shared function. This approach reduced code duplication and established a maintainable foundation for future cross-context UI enhancements. The work focused on improving consistency in user experience and simplifying ongoing maintenance by unifying related UI patterns. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature development and architectural groundwork for upcoming interface improvements.
