Worked on the block/buzz repository to enhance onboarding and community user experiences, focusing on reducing friction and improving activation and retention. Delivered ten features and addressed two bugs, including refining desktop onboarding flows, polishing community profile onboarding, and aligning onboarding steps for consistency. Improved UI/UX by keeping avatar previews visible during uploads, introducing fuzzy onboarding cards, and refining onboarding copy for clarity. Utilized React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS to implement these changes, emphasizing maintainable frontend development and state management. Addressed reliability by fixing loader opacity issues, resulting in smoother perceived performance and a more welcoming first-run experience for new users.
