Worked on the DataDog/datadog-agent repository to enhance kernel-level tracing by improving the eBPF memfd hook for broader tracer compatibility. Focused on detecting seals via both F_SEAL_SEAL and F_SEAL_WRITE, the work addressed compatibility gaps with libdatadog-based tracers that omit F_SEAL_WRITE. Updated the syscall tester to use real-world tracer masks, ensuring accurate validation of memfd sealing patterns. Validated these enhancements across multiple languages and runtimes, including Python and Node, to reduce missed traces. Demonstrated strong system programming skills in C and Linux Kernel development, collaborating across teams to strengthen monitoring coverage and reliability through targeted testing and code review.
