During February 2025, Strebel enhanced the GoogleCloudPlatform/cloud-foundation-fabric repository by implementing a new feature in the net-lb-app-ext module to expose generated backend service IDs as an output. This addition, developed using Terraform and HCL, improves resource visibility and facilitates downstream automation by making backend service identifiers accessible for integration across infrastructure components. Strebel updated the module’s documentation and test plans to ensure clarity and maintainability, demonstrating attention to both technical detail and usability. The work focused on cross-module integration within cloud infrastructure, providing a targeted solution that increases the reliability and reusability of infrastructure as code deployments.
