Worked on the IBM/storage-fusion repository to enhance deployment reliability and operational visibility over a two-month period. Focused on stabilizing hotfix workflows by implementing a fix for Exechook timeout issues and improving script feedback to display applied hotfix versions during execution. Addressed deployment correctness by correcting image hash references in deployment scripts, ensuring the Guardian Transaction Manager hotfix deployed the intended image version. Utilized shell scripting, bash, and DevOps practices to deliver targeted changes, versioned artifacts, and improved rollback traceability. The work reduced timeout-related failures, minimized deployment risks, and supported faster incident response through improved diagnostics and system administration techniques.
