Worked on backend development in Rust to enhance gateway routing flexibility for RUPAY card flows within the juspay/decision-engine repository. Delivered a targeted feature that removed HyperPg from the CardMandateBinFilterExcludedGateways, thereby broadening the available gateway options for RUPAY mandate transactions. This change aimed to streamline transaction processing and reduce potential bottlenecks or declines by allowing more gateways to participate in RUPAY flows. The implementation was tracked with full commit history for traceability and auditability. Focus remained on feature delivery, with no major bugs addressed during the period, emphasizing robust Rust engineering and backend system design.
