During July 2025, Debapriyo Roy developed a precise task interruption feature for the Comfy-Org/ComfyUI_frontend repository, focusing on improving user control over queued tasks. By extending the API contract to accept a prompt ID and integrating this change into the Vue.js frontend using TypeScript, Debapriyo enabled users to cancel specific tasks rather than interrupting the entire queue. This approach reduced wasted compute time and aligned with business goals of minimizing SLA risk. The work demonstrated depth through end-to-end integration, covering API design, frontend invocation, and queue management, and showcased skills in API integration, frontend development, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
