Worked on enhancing security compliance documentation for the canonical/k8s-snap repository, focusing on Kubernetes deployments. The project involved updating and clarifying documentation related to FIPS compliance, DISA STIG hardening, and UFW configuration, using Markdown to ensure clear communication of technical requirements. Emphasis was placed on outlining prerequisites, installation steps, and post-deployment actions to streamline the audit process and support secure cluster onboarding. Collaboration with peers through cross-team review helped validate the accuracy and completeness of the documentation. The improvements addressed networking and security compliance concerns, ultimately reducing audit risk and simplifying the process for deploying compliant Kubernetes environments.
