In December 2024, Dima Maros delivered Romanian Home Title Localization for the IBM/IM-ios repository, enabling Romanian translations for the iOS application's home title and improving accessibility for Romanian-speaking users. The localization was managed through Weblate, with changes tracked via Git, and integrated into the existing iOS codebase using Swift. This work streamlined the translation workflow and reduced future localization effort by establishing a more maintainable pipeline. Dima’s contribution focused on translation management and iOS development, broadening the app’s reach and ensuring smoother support for additional languages, while demonstrating effective cross-functional collaboration and attention to localization best practices.
