Worked on the paypal/paypal-checkout-components repository to implement a new funding control feature for merchants. Developed a disableFunding property in React, allowing conditional hiding of the Credit funding button within the checkout flow. This addition required updates to eligibility checks and the creation of comprehensive tests to verify the new behavior, ensuring that merchants could reliably opt out of displaying the Credit funding source. Expanded test coverage and improved documentation around funding options to support maintainability and reliability. The work was completed using JavaScript and front end development best practices, focusing on robust feature delivery and clear, maintainable code.
