Worked on the paypal/paypal-checkout-components repository to enhance the robustness of the Hosted Button Create Order flow by improving error handling and reporting. Focused on propagating detailed API error context, including the 'issue' field, to the error handler, which enables more precise diagnostics and supports better customer experiences. Added automated JavaScript tests to verify the improved error reporting and prevent future regressions. Incorporated these changes into the front end, strengthening reliability and providing clearer surfaces for debugging and customer support. The work emphasized front end development skills and contributed to more maintainable error flows without introducing new features during this period.
