During December 2024, DJR focused on stabilizing the image viewing workflow in the pcdshub/mfx repository by addressing a critical bug in path resolution and mask handling. DJR improved the image_viewer.sh script to correctly reference output directories by incorporating group parameters and refining path construction logic. The work involved integrating shell scripting with Python-based tools, particularly dials.image_viewer, to ensure accurate mask visualization and reliable downstream processing. By resolving file path inconsistencies and enhancing argument handling, DJR increased the reliability of image review processes. The depth of the work reflects careful attention to workflow robustness and cross-language integration within the project.
