Worked on the scala/scala3 repository to enhance CI/CD observability by implementing Develocity Build Scan Nightly Tagging. This feature automatically applies a NIGHTLY tag to build scans for nightly builds, determined by the isNightly flag, streamlining the organization and identification of nightly build data. Using Scala and leveraging build automation and CI/CD skills, the solution reduced manual tagging effort and improved traceability across nightly runs. The approach laid the foundation for better metrics collection and enabled faster triage and root-cause analysis of nightly regressions, supporting more efficient debugging and maintenance of the nightly build process within the repository.
