Worked on the sonic-net/sonic-buildimage repository to address a critical bug affecting the docker-syncd-mlnx-rpc container. Delivered a targeted fix by pinning ptf_nn_agent.py to a specific version and updating the Dockerfile.j2 to reference a patched artifact, ensuring alignment with upstream community patches. Utilized containerization and DevOps practices to build the updated RPC image, followed by runtime validation using Docker and supervisorctl to confirm the fix was active. Leveraged Python scripting and Dockerfile modifications to reduce downtime risk and improve RPC stability, ensuring that the container consistently reflected the latest community and upstream bug fixes in production builds.
