Worked on the SWU-Karabast/forceteki-client repository, delivering three front-end features over two months with a focus on performance and user experience. Implemented image asset optimization by reducing file sizes and converting images to WebP, which improved load times and reduced bandwidth usage. Developed a card preview on hover feature using React and Material-UI, introducing popover-based previews with conditional rendering for consistent UX across card types. Modernized the dropdown component by replacing the legacy Select with MUI Autocomplete, providing a searchable, theme-consistent interface. Utilized TypeScript, JavaScript, and CSS throughout, emphasizing maintainability and alignment with the project’s design system.
Concise monthly summary for 2025-03: Focused on delivering a modernized dropdown UX in the forceteki-client and aligning it with the design system. This month emphasized component modernization and consistent styling to boost usability and maintainability.
