During March 2026, Zixiang Zhang developed an Objective-C compatible font provider for the CompatibleAnimationView component in the airbnb/lottie-ios repository. This work focused on enhancing cross-language compatibility, allowing Lottie fonts to be seamlessly integrated into Objective-C-based iOS applications. Zixiang utilized Objective-C and Swift to ensure the new provider worked smoothly within existing animation workflows, prioritizing maintainability and ease of adoption for teams using both languages. No major bugs were addressed during this period, as the primary effort centered on building robust animation infrastructure. The contribution demonstrates depth in animation, Objective-C, SwiftUI, and iOS development, with a clear focus on interoperability.
