
Worked on foundational hardware design for the DriveJ2 project in the robotique-udes/PCB repository, focusing on manufacturability and design reuse. Established a KiCad symbol library and created the base PCB layout, enabling a smooth transition from prototyping to production. Applied CAD and PCB design skills to refine the layout, including coordinate adjustments, connector standardization, and copper plane optimization for improved electrical performance. Enhanced testability and reliability by reconfiguring arcs, segments, and via assignments, and updated the design to support final connector changes and amp-rating requirements. All work was completed using KiCad and STEP, emphasizing readiness for manufacturing and prototyping.
