Worked on FreeTubeApp/FreeTube to deliver Lithuanian localization for the application’s user interface, focusing on accessibility-driven improvements. Leveraged YAML for translation files and integrated Weblate to manage and track translation progress, reaching 53.7% coverage of UI strings. Collaborated with other contributors through Git-based workflows, ensuring traceability and efficient updates. The work emphasized internationalization and localization best practices, establishing a repeatable process for future language support. Updates included accessibility enhancements, such as improved screen reader compatibility for Lithuanian users. No bugs were fixed during this period, with efforts concentrated on expanding the application’s reach and inclusivity for Lithuanian-speaking audiences.
