Worked on the projectcalico/calico repository to deliver RBAC and manifest support for the xlistenersets.gateway.networking.x-k8s.io resource within the Tigera operator. This involved updating YAML manifests and Helm chart templates to align operator permissions with the latest custom resource definitions, ensuring the operator could safely manage and recognize the new resource type across Kubernetes clusters. The work focused on operator development and RBAC configuration, specifically modifying role definitions to grant appropriate access. By integrating these changes, the developer enabled secure and compliant reconciliation of xlistenersets resources, supporting evolving networking requirements while maintaining consistency with Kubernetes best practices and standards.
