Worked on the Metrolist repository to deliver initial Norwegian Bokmål localization, enabling Norwegian users to interact with the app in their native language. Focused on Android development and translation workflows, the work involved adding translations for two key app strings using XML and integrating with Weblate to support ongoing internationalization. The approach emphasized incremental progress, with 14.6% of 762 strings translated and clear documentation of translation status within version control. No major bugs were addressed during this period, but the groundwork established a scalable process for future localization, improving accessibility and positioning Metrolist for broader adoption in Norway.
