Worked on the Homebrew/homebrew-core repository to deliver the Micasa Formula Version 2.8.0 release, focusing on enhancing package management workflows. Updated the Micasa formula by revising the source URL and SHA256 checksum to align with the new upstream release, ensuring users could reliably install and upgrade to version 2.8.0 with verified integrity. This work improved the reliability of Homebrew installations by maintaining accurate metadata and supporting seamless user upgrades. Leveraged Ruby and Homebrew’s formula conventions to implement these changes, demonstrating attention to detail in package management and release processes. No bug fixes were recorded during this period of focused feature delivery.
