Addressed a critical bug by correcting the chown command to use the ':' delimiter, ensuring BusyBox correctly assigns both user and group ownership and resolving an issue where the group remained root. Enhanced release readiness by updating release metadata and documenting changes with clear commit messages, supporting the onboarding of Domoticz version 3.9571 with improved Filesystem Hierarchy Standard handling. Utilized shell scripting and system administration skills throughout, emphasizing careful attention to packaging hygiene and stable deployment practices within the project.
