Worked on stabilizing logging behavior and preventing configuration mutation side effects in the viamrobotics/rdk repository, focusing on the viam-server component. Addressed a bug where debug log output persisted after the debug flag was removed from the configuration, ensuring that log levels now update correctly and consistently across components. Refactored the configuration mutation process to occur before diffing, which eliminated unintended overrides of local changes. Developed and executed end-to-end tests within a local cloud environment to verify the fix and improve coverage for cloud watcher interactions. Utilized Go for backend development, emphasizing cloud configuration and robust testing practices throughout.
