Developed and delivered the Subscriptions Import/Export feature for the TeamNewPipe/NewPipe repository, enabling users to back up and restore their subscriptions through a new UI in the BackupRestoreSettingsFragment. This work introduced the SubscriptionsImportExportHelper, a reusable component that centralized import and export logic for both the SubscriptionFragment and BackupRestoreSettingsFragment, reducing code duplication and improving maintainability. The implementation leveraged Kotlin, Java, and Android UI design, focusing on modular architecture to support future extensibility. By streamlining subscription migration across devices, the feature addressed data portability challenges and enhanced user retention, while also potentially reducing support overhead related to device transitions.
