During January 2025, F.M.H. Wong focused on improving the reliability of the command-line handling test suite in the OpenLiberty/open-liberty repository. Wong addressed flakiness and locale-related failures by removing redundant assertions and refining verification logic, which reduced Java warnings and improved the stability of automated testing. This work centered on Java-based test code, leveraging skills in log analysis and testing to ensure that command-line parsing and help messaging were robustly validated. By enhancing the test suite, Wong enabled faster feedback cycles and safer CLI changes, contributing to more reliable continuous integration workflows and a more maintainable codebase overall.
