Worked on network automation and configuration enhancements in the openconfig/featureprofiles and cprabha/featureprofiles repositories, focusing on BGP add-path support and OpenConfig path compatibility. Delivered a backward-compatibility fix for static LSP next-hop configuration, conditionally applying older OpenConfig paths based on device capabilities to maintain interoperability. Enhanced BGP configuration by introducing deviation support for unsupported features, updating metadata, and refining attribute handling to reduce misconfigurations. Addressed integration issues through careful commit management and collaboration. Utilized Go, Protocol Buffers, and gRPC to implement these changes, emphasizing robust test automation and ensuring stable, cross-device deployments while accelerating modernization and deployment readiness.
