Worked on enhancing routing stability and device health monitoring across the openconfig/featureprofiles and b4firex/featureprofiles repositories. Developed a default eBGP import policy that rejects routes without explicit configuration and increased the prefix install wait time, both implemented in Go and ProtoBuf, to reduce misrouted traffic and improve network reliability. Introduced Arista-specific health check deviations to accommodate unsupported features, ensuring more accurate device health assessments. Emphasized clear documentation and cross-repository traceability, which streamlined onboarding and troubleshooting. Focused on backend development, BGP configuration, and network programming, these updates improved observability, reduced false positives, and aligned feature profiles with product requirements.
