Over a two-month period, contributed to HuggingFace’s open-source ecosystem by building and stabilizing core features in both huggingface.js and transformers repositories. Developed an integrated Lightning IR-based code snippet generation workflow in huggingface.js, enabling automated creation of BiEncoderModule and CrossEncoderModule snippets and streamlining model module integration. Leveraged full stack development skills with Python and TypeScript to reduce manual boilerplate and accelerate prototyping. Additionally, addressed numerical stability in the transformers repository by correcting the norm_eps data type in ModernBert configuration, improving training reproducibility across FP32 and FP64 workflows. Work demonstrated attention to both feature delivery and critical bug resolution.
