Worked on enhancing the reliability of the Orange-OpenSource/community.zabbix repository by addressing a bug in the Zabbix Server Role version check. Focused on improving correctness, the developer refined the version comparison logic by removing unnecessary template tags and quotes from a conditional statement, ensuring accurate evaluation of valid versions across distributions. The solution was implemented using Ansible and YAML, maintaining existing interfaces to minimize regression risk and deployment-time troubleshooting. All changes were scoped to reduce surface area, with clear and review-friendly commit messages that support efficient code review and rollback. This work laid the foundation for future validation enhancements.
